Conner graduated from Russell County High School in 2004 and at the time of her Miss USA win was studying toward a degree in Business Administration from Somerset Community College.

Apart from her role as Miss USA, Conner has been employed as a model and waitress. She was a featured model on the HDNet series Bikini Destinations in 2004, posing for the cameras in Lake Tahoe. She has held the titles Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2002, Miss Kentucky USA 2006 and Miss USA 2006.

In late 2006, Conner became the center of a public scandal, but was ultimately allowed to retain her crown as Miss USA. News reports claim she had been drinking underage, tested positive for the use of cocaine, and kissed Miss Teen USA Katie Blair in public, among other things.

Immediately following her pageant win, Conner moved into a Trump Place apartment that she will share with sister tittieholders, Zuleyka Rivera (Miss Universe 2006) and her make out partner Katie (Miss Teen USA 2006) during her reign. NICE!!!

Sources connected with the pageant told TMZ that both "Oprah" and the "Today" show battled hard to land Tara's first post-rehab appearance and "Today" won.

Apparently Tara chose "Today" because the interview would be all about her -- but on "Oprah," she would have to share the stage with The Donald and others. Me, Me, Me...!!!

In her first television interview since leaving rehab, Conner sat with "Today's" Matt Lauer and admitted to abusing alcohol and cocaine, as well as other drugs, and suggested that an abusive childhood may have contributed to her woes.

Am I the only phucking person in America that hasn't had an abusive childhood?

Somebody clever little phuck somewhere came up with the 'abused childhood defense' It seems like we forgive eveyone and everything if they just go to rehab and admit that they were abused... When the hell will people take responsibility for their own actions? You're still blaming your parents? You're smart and driven enough to go out and win Miss USA.. but you're too stupid and short sighted to know that underage drinking and bouts of blow won't kill your career...
