Dec. 28th 2005 - Phucking Useless!! I couldn't help but watch yet another episode of the new season of the gastineau girls - there wasn't enough weed in the world to knock me out.

Did they not see their first season? Are they just so oblivious to every thing and every one around them? Just ask lisa's assistant, Sakinah. who should really be looking for another job - because kissing ass doesn't seem to be her thing.

If you haven't seen an episode, you must!! only then will you get a full understanding of how we love nothing more than to celebrate our society's biggest and brightest stars. These girls are useless at best.

Now of course the irony of it all is, it's certainly not art nor entertaining. That is unless you enjoy watching illiterates, felons and spoiled whiny socialites. On second thought, it is entertaining...

Again, human degradation is our #1 form of entertainment. We love nothing more than to watch people make complete assholes or idiots of themselves. The Gastineau Girls are a prime example.

Oh wait, they're not on the A&E channel are they?.. hang on, no, sorry - They're simply on E! With shows like, "Dog the Bounty Hunter" and, "Growing up Gotti", It's easy to get confused... A&E is a much more sophisticated channel. My mistake.

Anyway - The Gastineau Girls is a fascinating show. E! has truly mastered the art of laziness. There's no cross country Simple Life, no board room encounters, no million dollar Survivor prize - just two million dollar babies - whining and bitching about their troubled lives. Hmmm.. everyone hates America.. but why?

Hey did you know that Brittny wants to be a model? I know, I know, how original. I wonder if there are any famous offspring that actually contribute to society other than leeching off of their parents or ex-husbands? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller.. Bueller...

The most poignant moments of the show come when Lisa Gastineau, mother of Brittny and ex-wife of Marc Gastineau, begins to philosophize about life. She digs really deep and truly believes in her own sincerity. Mainly because it revolves around her. They (the rich and spoiled) genuinely believe they are giving something back. They are the voice of reason. It's as if all of their money and prestige suddenly makes them intelligent and worth listening to.

When you reach such a level of wealth and status - moreover, if you've never had to work a day in your life to acheive it, you can't possibly understand what the common man goes through. They can pretend, they can try really hard - but at the end of the day, they are so far up their own asses that they remain ignorant of others and their opinion's. Which probably isn't so bad after all, given that opinions don't run too high for rich, spoiled and whiney bitches.
