Doctors at the rehab center think that Brit may be suffering from post-partum, and Brooke agrees. "It really needs to be reckoned with," Shields says. "It's very common, and she'll get through it."

Feb 25th, 2007 - Britney Spears saw her children during a weekend visit to Promises. Estranged husband Kevin Federline brought their boys, Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden James, 5 months, to the Malibu rehab center Saturday evening, a source says.

"The kids are his No. 1 priority and they always have been," the source says. "He’s so stressed out right now. He only wants the best for Britney and the kids." This was the second time Federline has visited his estranged wife. He also went to Promises on Friday without the children.

Spears 25, voluntarily checked herself into the residential rehab center on Feb. 20, left the next morning, then returned Thursday night.

Feb 22nd, 2007 -  Sources tell ET Britney Spears returned to Promises residential treatment center on Wednesday night after checking out of the Malibu, CA, facility earlier that morning.
Also on Wednesday a desperate Britney was photographed using an umbrella to hit a car outside the home where her ex, Kevin Federline, is reportedly staying. The photos reveal a furious Britney dressed in white shorts and a hooded sweatshirt repeatedly striking an SUV with an umbrella.

After reportedly spending 45 minutes outside his residence, Britney's mom picked her up and eventually brought her to the rehab facility.

Meanwhile, Federline was scheduled to go to court today for an emergency hearing in Los Angeles. But ET has confirmed that the hearing has been cancelled.

Feb 22nd, 2007 - Terrified she'd lose custody of her sons, an out-of-control Britney Spears tried to kill herself TWICE in the hours after shaving her head, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively from sources.


Hours after creating a media frenzy by shaving her head, sources say the troubled star tried to take her own life by walking into traffic, only to be rescued at the last second by her staff.

But that wasn't the end of Britney's self-destructive impulses. A short time later she was rushed to a doctor after saying she was going to kill herself and then taking too many Xanax, say the sources.

Britney's emotional collapse was triggered by a "reconciliation" with estranged husband Kevin Federline — that was actually meant to be an intervention, sources tell The ENQUIRER.

And when Kevin warned her that she'd fail a drug test and he'd get custody of their sons, a hysterical Britney went over the edge and ended up shaving herself bald while a crowd of spectators and photographers watched outside Esther's Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, California.

"After she shaved off her hair, Britney had a complete breakdown and tried to kill herself," an insider told The ENQUIRER.

Feb 21st, 2007 - (AP) Britney Spears left a live-in rehabilitation facility early Wednesday, less than a day after checking in, according to several reports. It was the second time in a week that Spears entered a rehab facility and checked out before her first day was finished.

The television news magazine "The Insider" initially reported that Spears called a car service, walked out of the Promises Malibu Treatment Center and left the facility early Wednesday morning.

Britney Spears, back from less than 24 hours in a Caribbean rehab facility, showed up at a Sherman Oaks, Calif. tattoo parlor Friday night sporting a new hairdo. KABC in Los Angeles caught her as she got a new tattoo of red lips on her wrist..


A Los Angeles television station grabbed footage of her Friday night at a tattoo parlor in the San Fernando Valley. She was there to get a couple of tiny tattoos on her wrist, a pair of pink and red lips.

Us Weekly magazine reported that she also got a black, white and pink cross tattooed on her lower hip.
