I used to think that it's because hot women are generally void of substance and have nothing to contribute to this world other than looking good...or perhaps it's the way they parade around expecting everyone to throw roses at their feet and fan them with palm leaves (in the spirit of Easter)

But now I realize that my shallowness runs deeper... I hate them because I refuse to accept that our society places such importance on these vacant bombshells. more

 I figured it out, it's not hot women I hate, it's people. People who take themselves too seriously.

Why can't you just be hot and goofy? Why the serious Zoolander face? Are you afraid to expose yourself?

Hot women are much more attractive when they smile and laugh. No talking. Just smiling and laughing.

They (hot people) are so concerned about the way they look and so pre-occupied with "who's looking at me." They are so bundled up with themselves they forget how to let go and smile, cause God forbid they have something stuck in their teeth.

Watching hockey playoffs, I was appalled when the cameraman continued focusing on some hot chick in the stands... some hot chick who's probably some paid escort who knows fuck all about hockey... but hey, she's hot and the cameraMAN is following his instinct.

We are so drawn to the importance of looks it's pathetic. Perhaps this is the same argument as, "Teachers and nurses being underpaid"

Quite simply our society has everything backasswards. Yes, I realize that I'm not uncovering anything new here... we will continue to hang on to every word that celebrities spew from their lips and listen with content to the fascinating bile that flies from the mouth of Hollywood...

But why? Why must we find fascination in something or someone that we can never become? We need to concentrate on issues that concern us directly and not what Jennifer Aniston is wearing to the Emmies.

Perhaps we are just so bored with our mundane lives that we are in constant search of the Lion and the Witch... and we lose ourselves in the Wardrobe. Time to come out of the closet...
