Wave Good-Bye To Hollywood

You phucking bastard... is all I can mutter, actually it's all I can yell as Mr. I'm driving a standard while on my cell phone atop this hill... just made a 3 lane change without indicating so he can make his turn off.. all without thanking you for letting him in.

Who the hell does he think he is? Doesn't he know who I am.. he should thank me for letting him in!!! But wait, he can't he's on his phone. But chances are even if s/he wasn't gabbing to their 'agent' they wouldn't thank you anyway.

I'm talking about the 'Thank You Wave.' The long lost tradition of saying 'hey man, thanx for letting me be an asshole.' The symbol of, 'Hey I appreciate your understanding, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going...'

All it takes is a simple raise of your right arm. Phuck some people still do it when they're on the phone - you get the 'Thanx, I'm on the phone wave.' Or maybe even the 'side body left arm wave...' You know, say the person is driving standard and they tuck their phone against their chin and shoulder and strain to wave their digits.

Those are the really, really nice drivers - the ones who would kill themselves and others just to avoid being discourteous.

Personally, I think that our license plate numbers should also be our cell phone numbers... cut me off will you!!!

Just a wave folks - a simple wave is all it takes.

While we're at it - hey fatso, why not hurry your ass up a bit when crossing the street. Waiting at a stop sign.. watching the bastards take their sweet time crossing in front of my car.. you know I'm waiting for you.. can't you just jog those last few steps... it's courtesy. Think of it as exercise. wave your arms and pick up your step... maybe that's why America is overweight.
