So how do you figure that a guy driving a flexfuel car throws his cigarette butt out the window?  I personally figure because he's an asshole.  Nay, an ironic asshole.  Maybe even an arrogant ironic asshole. 

I can just picture this guy at a party (with other assholes) going on and on about his 50MPG car blah blah blah...how he's doing his part to help the environment all the while he keeps throwing shit out his car window.  Maybe he figures he's allowed to litter because he's driving the latest hybrid?

Let's face it, most idiots throw their butts out the window...while still lit.  Even as half of California has burned, people still, obliviously and casually dump their cigarettes anywhere but in their car, that unfortunately probably won't change.  But when you take the time to buy an 'environmentally friendly' car, why not take the time and use the ashtray?  To be fair, maybe it was his wife’s car!
