Walking my dogs this morning, I realized that I had forgotten my poop bags...(not for me, but for the dogs).  Luckily enough, I looked on the ground and there was a stack of 'Los Feliz Ledgers' our local newspaper. 

What do I see on the front page, a picture of my good buddy Tom 'put down the bong' Labonge.  It seems that Tommy pooh has gotten himself into yet again another entanglement.  No, not paving over Runyon Canyon...but trying to stop a Chicago based investment group (Fox River Financial) from developing properties just above the Hollywood sign!!

Yes, that's right...the land that was once owned by Howard Hughes, 138 acres of mountain top land is  looking  to be sold...for 22 MILLION.  The land  has been estimated at 4 Million and was was originally bought in 2002 for 1.6 Million!!!  According to Tom, the city had not been notified the land was up for sale.  SURPRISE!!! 

That's what we need, more development for rich assholes.  Forget about the 1000+ acres that have already burned up the park over the last 2 Springs...phuck all the animals and to hell with the landscape.  Bring in the utility trucks, pave the roads, telephone poles...waste...nice.

So now Tom is desperately trying to secure donations and private funding to try and stop or buy back the land that they sold.  Hey Tom, why not try putting up some more 'No Parking' signs around the block...that'll raise some money...

The good news is, the smog or 'marine layer' usually covers the whole city anyway, so nobody's really ever gonna see it.

Wait, Fox River...isn't that?...
