Sirens wail, and Rosa Estrada, 34, scurries down the side of a muddy bank.  "Get under the bushes!" someone whispers urgently in the dark. "Immigration is coming!"

Just kidding...it's all part of a new amusement park in Hidalgo state.  Tourists can pay 18$ (a years salary) to go on a 5 hour trek that includes such events as walking through ankle deep mud and sprinting through corn fields. 

I have idea where to even begin with this... Estrada, says she feels a certain empathy for emigrants and that participating for laughs is in poor taste.  This is is 3rd trip to the park which now includes her 12 year old son.  Empathy runs deep. 

Apparently, the adventure is nowhere near as dangerous as an actual border crossing.  3,000 Mexicans have taken the tour which is about 700 miles from the real US-Mexico border.

So why cram yourself into a container, when for a half years pay, you can participate in a mass border crossing training camp.  Or at least have a chance to pick some corn.  source
