Does Eric Schiffer have a Death Wish?

I was with a buddy the other day and he was telling me that they were going to remake “Deathwish” the Charles Bronson classic that we have all come to know and love. I was thinking it would probably star some flavor du jour but the only name that came up was some entrepreneur named Eric Schiffer who is supposed to star in the remake with “An A-List Star.

I have to admit that I never heard of the guy but apparently he was an accomplished author, organizational leader and now . . .Action star? I’m intrigued as to how a guy who’s named in the same circles as Richard Branson, Russell Simmons and Wayne Huizinga is going to handle becoming involved with “The Sidewalk Vigilante”? So, I passed on the opportunity to knock the guy until I had a chance to do a little due diligence and find out more about this Eric Schiffer guy.

Well, it appears as though the guy does have some acting experience so he should be okay (obviously Dr. Tom will be doing a review of the film at the Premiere when it comes out in ‘08 and we will see if our hunch is correct) but we will have to wait and see.

I didn’t go so far as to buy his book “Emotionally Charged Living” but I will dig up his other movies and check them out.
