It's been a couple of weeks and you decide to finally let one go - it feels good. After all, why keep it in, it feels so natural. Then you let another one go, then another. You keep going until she just can't take it anymore.



She finally tells you that she no longer wants to talk to you. But why? All you did was tell her how you felt... 10 times a day...

Maybe it's your insecurity, or maybe you just can't help your stupid feelings, whatever it is - you blew it. Again. Sure it started out perfectly but your feelings, or rather what you thought were your feelings started to surface. You ignore all good sense and suddenly find yourself telling her things like 'I really like you.' You start calling her everyday... you start showing way more interest than she's comfortable with.

You know she likes you - but she just doesn't respond to your feelings. So you begin to flounder. More compliments... you start fishing for signs. Why, why won't she tell me she feels the same damnit!!!

Well you idiot - because she's just not in a place to reciprocate. Keep going with your blubbery and she'll never be. Perhaps she just got out of a relationship, maybe she's just a bit smarter than your average girl - whatever the case, allow her all the space she needs.

At the start of a relationship, it's common where one of you likes the other more. Either you like her way too much, or she likes you way too much. It's tough at the beginning. Both of you are getting your feet wet, testing the waters - so don't drown her.

You gotta shut the phuck up. It's easier said than done, but do whatever is necessary to NOT tell her how you feel. If you've already gone out with each other and she's calling you now and again, you know she feels the same way you do, she just has to get there at her own pace. IF you don't, she's gonna split.

If you do happen to slip up and tell her how you feel, don't wait or expect her to say something back. In other words, don't tell her, 'I really like you.' hoping she'll say the same thing - because if she doesn't and if you're waiting for it... can you say, "awkward." Avoid all circumstances where the word 'awkward' can come into play.

There are many reasons for feeling the way we do about someone. Maybe they're a rebound, maybe you're lonely and you just want a partner or maybe you genuinely like them. Regardless of your reasons, you must always proceed with caution. A delicate hare is easily spooked.
