You Want The Truth... You Can't Handle The Truth

Why do you want to know? I mean, he's breaking up with you... so obviously he doesn't want to be with you.

This question was asked the other day: how can u tell if a guy is breaking up with you for the reasons he said?

You can be pretty certain that you're being dumped for every other reason than the one he's giving you.

When somebody breaks up with you, it's because they don't like you. They won't tell you the truth because the truth hurts and it's pointless.

"I don't want to date you anymore because I really like your best friend..."

"I want to start seeing other people because I have discovered that you're a loser"

"I keep dreaming about your sister, oh, and your mother..."

Of course we all want to believe that we want to hear the truth, but do we really? Do you really want to hear about his desire to shag other girls? Or have him tell you how he daydreams about your best friend? No.

In this case, the truth may result in a lot of needless hurt feeling.

So why rack your head over why he broke up with you... you'll never know the real reason and even then, you may not be prepared to hear the truth.

Instead, walk on. Keep your dignity and accept what he's OR she is telling you as "the truth." They're breaking up with you - so why spend the energy on trying to figure out if they're lying or not.

What happens when you do find out their lying? Do you feel better about yourself.. you're still alone.

What if he was trying to be nice, you know let you down easy? But NOOOOOO, your quest for the truth continued and It turns out that when he said he had no time to see you, he really meant, "I want to bang other chicks." So, how do you feel now?
