Email: Why do guys appear to be interested in you then suddenly they ignore you?

Well there could be a number of reasons. Let's explore the most obvious ones at first: Maybe you're boring, perhaps your breath is rank. Maybe you don't put out, maybe you're annoying... maybe you're a psycho.

It doesn't take much for a guy to be interested in a girl. That said, it doesn't take much for a guy to STOP being interested in you either.

When you say 'suddenly' do you really mean - 'After I've slept with him?'

Though the saying goes 'men are all the same.' We are not. Sure, we like food sex and silence but we all go about procuring them in various ways. Some guys like a challenge, some want to be chased... Some of us are needy, some independent. We're as complex as women.

Let's assume that you slept with him. That being the case, the answer to your question is obvious. You gave it up, so he's giving up. For the most part, a guy will lose interest in a woman after he's 'planted his seed.'

Human nature is such that once we get something we no longer want it.

Now let's pretend that you didn't sleep with him, and 'just like that' he lost interest... it could be that he's given up on the hunt. Maybe you're playing too many head games. Maybe he's decided to get it elsewhere. We can only take so much abuse before we up and leave. It's great that he's interested in you, but you too have to show some kind of interest.

I'll ask a girl out maybe twice MAX.. (okay, 9 times).. before I move on. to the next one. There's an expression in Tenessee... "Fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again." --George W. Bush
