So, let me try a different way...

As humans, we can all pretty much agree that we're messed up in the head. Given that, there will always be a need to "play games." Even as the other person is telling you how they hate playing games... they are playing games.

With this in mind, it's actually never important to tell him, "I like you." Your actions should speak for themselves. By telling someone you like them, you're creating an invisible barrier. You're creating labels.

So unfortunately, you can't just go up to him and say, "I like you." Great. I like, cheese sandwiches... Do you see the potential awkwardness?

If you like him, try these simple steps. Our language gets in the way. Between the sender and the receiver, thousands of mixed messages can occur, so if you like someone, it's better to show them then to tell them.

Telling a guy you like him is like ripping off his pants in public - you leave him feeling vulnerable. When guys feel vulnerable, or confused, we run. Yeah I know it sucks but take it up with God.

If you say " I like You," we may feel obligated or committed to say something back... and you may not like it, 'cause you know how much we love being obligated and committed.

Talk with him, hang out with blah blah.. and if he happens to tell you how he feels... you can take it from there. If you're patient, you'll notice that guys snap a lot quicker than girls... so chances are he'll be the first one to tell you, "I Like You." Unless he doesn't, in which case give up.
