What you want in a guy is what you see in the movies and read about in 17 Magazine. You most certainly do not need anything in a guy at 14 years old. You only think you do. Sorry. But this is where experience comes in... this is where you actually, "don't know it all."

I know I sound like an ass, and I'm sure you're thinking "what does this patronizing bastard know," - then you're thinking, "what does patronizing mean?"

Anyway, I know that you shouldn't stress over this 16 year old guy.

But seeing as you are, and you won't listen to me.. wait a minute...did you say PROM? isn't that like in the Spring... next year? Do you have any idea how many guys you are going to like between now and then? What the hell are you doing thinking abou that now?

How many times you're going to change your mind in the next 8 or 9 months? Prom is way too far to even think about it... so much can go wrong between now and then, so relax and concentrate on this month.

If he knows you like him then it doesn't make it interesting for him.. guys like the chase. If you're already fair game, then he may not be interested, we like a challenge.

Don't get anybody else involved. Don't get his best friend involved, your best friend.. his brother... make sure everyone stays out of it. It's difficult enough to communicate between two people now imagine 6 people... be mature about this and take matters into your own hands.

If he knows you like him there's not much else you can do except, wait for him to come talk to you. If he doesn't, take it as a sign and move on. Many girls can't take a hint, if we ignore them, they think we're shy... if we tell them we're busy they really think we are.

If he knows you like him, the simple truth is, if he doesn't acknowledge you, he doesn't like you.
