The blubbering continues, you wake up and once again you are faced with another day of being sad and miserable. You don't think it's getting better, but the fact that you just got out of bed instead of laying there for another 3 hours is already a huge improvement. So take it a day at a time.
Now you're thinking that you have no control over the situation, but you're wrong. The control you have is by not calling her. All you are doing by harassing her is building an argument against yourself. You're also hoping that she is thinking about you, and thinking about coming back to you.. great, but in the meantime, you're forgetting to think about what you want. It's easy to get caught up in feelings of loneliness, and to only think about, 'when is she going to call' but while you are doing that, it's equally as important to take a step back and figure out if getting back with her is in fact your ideal situation. Who knows, maybe she's not 'the one' but you're too busy telling yourself that she is that you're not seeing the bigger picture; which is saving yourself from future heartbreak. Let's say after all the tears and the weeks of sorrow, she finally comes back only to discover that 3 months later, you made a mistake and she's not the one... well back into bed you crawl... We have to stop blinding ourselves with our selfishness and childness' we steam roll towards the things we want without every wondering if we're rolling up the right hill.. (sorry that was the only word play available to me) |
