It never fails - all girls want is something they can't have. It goes with the saying, "the trick is not in wanting something, it's wanting it after you have it."

So when you are dating a 'rebel' you never know what you are going to get.. is he going to talk to me today? is he going to flirt with the girl in his class? will he even call me today? It's these types of questions that keeps girls on their toes. (same rules apply for guys)

Women love not knowing - they love the suspense. Let's face it, a little suspense and excitement is always better than boring predictability.

Anyway only now, about 15 years later do I understand that concept. I remember being so phucking confused over the whole 'treat her like shit' situation.. I still am. But evidently it works.

So how do you go from being a nice guy to being a dick? You can't. You can try but it'll come off as un-natural and the last thing you want to do is fail at trying to be a dick. So - if you weren't born into dickdom - then chances are you'll never master the art of asshole-ness.

Every girl I hunted down I did so without treating them like shit - I simply wore them down. I would write them letters, make them tapes.. call 10 times a day... I was always the charming annoying guy like "Duckie" from the movie, Pretty In Pink.

Fellas, please don't fret, there will always be a girl out there who finds humor in 'trying too hard.'

No matter how hard I tried at being a dick - I never succeeded.

The only advice to those who have tried but failed at being a dick is - patience. Because all the cool rebels in high school are now, for the most part, balding and fat.

They are fat because when they were 16 they pounded back cases of beer just before they pounded me.

They are bald because at 16 they reached their prime - now they are on a steady downward spiral.

So don't try too hard at being a dick - years of silent observation will take care of that for you.

We are who we are. Don't change your demeanor just because everybody else is a dick or because you think it'll get you further ahead - you'll just end up tripping over all of your personalities until nobody wants anything to do with you. Then of course you can always start up a website..
