This can mean several things, perhaps it means love can overcome racial barriers, maybe it means that when you're in love you don't listen for the warning signs or, for sake of this article it can mean that you slowly ruin a relationship and you never even see it coming.

What you thought you were doing for all the right reasons have turned out terribly wrong. Or Wong - depending on your ethnicity.

Growing up we learn, for better or worse, how to deal with our relationships from our parents and from experience. But because our formative years are spent at home, our parents are to 'blame' for most of our learned reactions.

Then of course there are the qualities you learn through experience. Let's take jealousy as today's example.

Jealousy mainly stems from insecurity - I'm sure there are some other reasons thrown in there, but insecurity is the root of all emotional evil.

There's a fine line between being jealous and pathetic, appearing apathetic, and showing love and awareness.

But when damnit.. when to show what and where? How much, with whom...

If I could answer those questions, do you think I'd be here on a Sunday morning in front of this phucking computer, or would I be snuggling in bed with my better half?

The answer unfortunately is, I'd be in front of this computer. Trying to 'get ahead' trying to make a better life for us... how romantic... how noble... yeah, but not at the expense of your happiness.

Now where were we.. ah yes, jealousy. If you're too jealous, you come off as pathetic and annoying but most of all, untrusting. So you don't want to be the jealous type. But wait, if you're not jealous then you come off as if you don't care about her when the whole time all you want to do is reach out and tell her how much she means to you. You want to give her space, but always make sure you don't give her too much because she just might test the waters and you never did learn how to swim.

Let her know when she's gone too far, she may keep swimming out to sea or with a little luck, she may grab your life preserver.
