Well just when you thought it might be safe to date again, along comes some more crappy dating advice...

I was trying to master my pick up lines, so I thought the best place to start my research is on the web.

I mean really, who else would be qualified to give such sought after advice than a bunch of geeky webmasters who sit around all day working on their websites...

I checked out one of my favorite dating sites, becomeaplayer.com - sure enough, it was chalked full of great advice. There it was, displayed in puke blue - everything I wanted to know about picking up chicks.. Everything I needed to know about becoming a stalker and a jungle gorilla was just a click away.

Here are some suggestions:

Dress to impress, always try to over-dress for the occasion. Women almost always assume that the best dressed men in the building are the most successful/highest paid.

Great idea. However the women that you are after hopefully by now know what ASSume spells. When you go to a pub, make sure to over dress - the beach, a football game, shopping - make sure to bring an extra bag of clothes with you because you never know when you're going to have to slip into your ascot.

The best dressed men aren't always the highest paid - they are the ones who are trying too hard.

Develop a slightly arrogant, upright walk. Your walk greatly reflects on how confident you are, and women love confidence.

Plus always remember to keep your chest out and shoulders back, this will make you appear to be wider and stronger than you actually are.

You'll also appear to be a silver back gorilla.

A chick can tell if a guy has a good body or not without you having to hold in your gut. I used to roll up my sleeves a couple of times and angle myself just right so that when I took a sip of my drink, my guns would pop out... It's sad and obvious. The only suggestion is, don't slouch. Walk tall and proud, not inflated and arrogant.

Variety is the key, switch up your hair style, cologne, and outfits on a regular basis. Women love men that that can not predict. You don't want to be viewed as being boring, do you?

You also don't want to be viewed as a schizophrenic or somebody in witness protection. Don't you know who you are? Are you that insecure that you have to try out different styles.. what, are you in high school? Trying to be everything and anything she wants you to be? Take a stand and be who you are and enjoy who you are without trying to be a chameleon. Besides... even being unpredictable becomes predictable which becomes boring...

Women are attracted to couragous men, so never appear to be afraid of anything. (they are also attracted to men who can spell courageous Or at least use spell check)

Women are also attracted to men that aren't idiots. Women are attracted to men that are honest and in touch. Not arrogant, silver back's who think they are invincible.
